It all started on Reade Street...

In 1947, a man named Frank Langdon opened a tiny flower shop on Greene Street in Manhattan, NY. Fast forward 15 years and the florist moves to 57 Reade Street, the same location where current owner and chief floral designer Joseph Rizzo bought the shop in the 1980's. After a few years in business, Joe decided to expand to a much larger location, right across the street to 62 Reade Street. The family owned and operated business flourished and for over 35 years, people from all over the world came to visit Joe and his talented designers for Langdon's beautiful creations.

In 2018, The Rizzo family chose quality of life over the hustle and bustle of beloved NYC and moved the business a ferry ride away to Sunnyside, Staten Island, NY - the family's hometown. With his neon FLORIST sign in tow, Joe paid homage to his roots and changed the name of his business to Langdon of Tribeca. Today, Joe and his daughters strive to make Langdon an inspirational space for clients that is everything but traditional.
